Optimise your pedalboard. With the IK Multimedia Z-Tone Buffer Boost, guitarists can upgrade their pedalboards and stage rigs with Z-TONE tone shaping. The pedal allows you to adjust the input impedance of your preamp pedal before the signal reaches the rest of your pedalboard. The perfect solution if you want first-class sound and an extended frequency range. The Z-TONE Buffer Boost pedal offers true bypass on the pedal and amp outputs, while the two balanced and unbalanced outputs allow bassists or acoustic guitarists to connect directly to mixing consoles and PA systems. A ground lift switch is also on board, which suppresses hum and other background noise. A buffered signal preserves the sound of the instrument when pedalboards and long cables are used. The boost control can then also be used to increase volume and saturation if required. The Z-TONE Buffer Boost pedal can be powered by either a 9-volt battery or a standard 9-volt power supply (sold separately).
