Designed in the time-honoured Waza Craft analogue tradition, the DC-2W not only offers a perfect sonic recreation of the original DC-2 Dimension C pedal, but also incorporates the legendary SDD-320 Dimension D 19'' effects unit that served as the inspiration for the DC-2. The DC-2W has the same intuitive four-button preset interface as the original from the 80s. What is new is the ability to switch the effects electronically, resulting in completely new sound variations compared to the vintage devices. Musicians and sound engineers have always sworn by the Dimension's unique spatial processing, which can be used to adjust the width and depth of any sound in an almost magical way - from electric and acoustic guitars to keyboards, vocals and other sound sources. Combining the original circuit design with numerous modern enhancements, the DC-2W is the only effects pedal on the market to offer the classic Dimension experience with complete sonic authenticity. The original Dimension effect is famous for its three-dimensional spatial sound processing that enhances all signals. In this context, the DC-2 has often been mislabelled as a chorus effect. In fact, the DC-2, like a chorus, is based on temporal processing of the input signals. However, the unique and sophisticated circuit design of the Dimension creates a subtle extension of the width and depth of the source material without the modulations becoming audibly prominent. The result sounds more open and naturally enhances any instrument or mix. Like the original Dimension effects, the DC-2W offers a simple and accessible interface with four preset switches for sound variations with increased width and depth. The original DC-2 had mechanical switches - the new DC-2W uses modern electronic switches and status LEDs for improved performance. The new concept also allows two switches to be pressed simultaneously to access a variety of additional sounds.
