In addition, thanks to its smooth character and active EQ with semi-parametric mids, the MT-2 can be perfectly combined with any type of guitar amplifier - including clean "pedal platform" amps.

Under the bonnet of the MT-2 is an innovative analogue circuit for powerful heavy sounds. Two gain stages are connected in series: the first provides the necessary clarity in the mids and leads directly into the second, more aggressive stage. The carefully tuned pre- and post-distortion filters (seven stages in total) ensure that the sound remains tight and clearly defined in every setting without becoming dull and spongy.
