With the dynamics programme, you can control the depth of the reverb using the velocity. Great and impressive reverb effects that never wash out your sound. The RV-6 makes it very easy to create high quality reverb sounds with your guitar: select an effect category, turn the knobs a little and play. Although the operation seems very simple, the sound of the RV-6 is very complex and sophisticated. Under the bonnet, there are a lot of detailed reverb parameters at work in each mode, all developed by BOSS engineers in collaboration with many professional musicians and sound engineers. Even if you only change the "Time & Tone" controls of a programme, many parameters are adjusted internally at the same time to always provide the ideal voicing. While the reverb effects of the RV-6 work on an absolute "high-end" digital level, you can be sure that the actual guitar signal is always purely analogue and the effect is only mixed in. The practical automatic switching sockets enable any signal chain, with support for "mono", "mono-to-stereo" and "stereo-to-stereo" operation. By using Input B alone, the RV-6 delivers 100% of the pure effect sound to the output. This is ideal for working in complex systems or mixing consoles with "parallel" signal routing. In addition, there is a connection to control the reverb level with an optional expression or volume pedal via pedals while playing with your hands.
