With UNO Drum, IK Multimedia presents the latest member of the UNO series. UNO Drum's specialities are said to be a wide sound palette of fat and powerful analogue sounds combined with digital flexibility and convenience.

Here, a selection of programming and live performance features should make it easy for musicians, producers and DJs to add massive drum grooves to their music. Six analogue drum sounds, including two kick drums plus snares, claps and hi-hats, form the essential core kit for building fat analogue beats, with additional PCM elements (54 samples to choose from) for deeper sonic flavours. These include toms, rims, cowbells, rides and crash cymbals to create complex rhythm tracks. A total of up to twelve elements can be used between analogue and digital sounds with 11-voice polyphony.

UNO Drum offers two analogue master audio effects for sound design: Drive and Compressor. For playing, UNO Drum offers twelve touch-sensitive pads with two velocity zones, which can also be used for simple programming.

UNO Drum has a special tap tempo pad for quickly generating different tempos. With the 64-step sequencer, patterns can be recorded step by step or in real time using the 16 keys. Up to eight parameters per step can be automated for further variations. In song mode, up to 64 patterns can be linked together to create extended grooves. For integration in the studio, live and on the road, UNO Drum offers USB and conventional MIDI connections via 2.5 mm jack plugs (cable included). In addition, UNO Drum has an audio input for chaining directly to the IK Multimedia UNO synth, or any other device that is routed through the internal compressor, without the need for an additional mixer.
