The LMP SuperDock 2 is an all-in-one USB4 solution with 15 ports for seamless data transfer, high-resolution video and audio connectivity as well as fast and reliable network access via a single USB4 cable. Thanks to the Intel JHL8140 chipset, it is fully compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4. The SuperDock 2 is equipped with a 130-watt power supply and delivers up to 100 watts (Power Delivery 3.0) to any notebook that can be charged via USB4 or Thunderbolt 3 or 4, such as MacBook Pro/Air. The SuperDock 2 is compatible with macOS and Windows OS.

A total of 8 USB ports - 4 on the front and 4 on the back - enable the connection of almost any USB peripheral device to the host computer. Speeds range from fast 10 Gbit/s to 5 Gbit/s and USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/s) for low-speed peripherals such as keyboard and mouse. The USB-A and USB-C ports also deliver up to 7.5 W (BC1.2 1.5 A) of power for charging an iPhone or other USB-C devices.

The SuperDock 2 has 2 HDMI, one DisplayPort and one USB-C port with DP Altmode capability. The DisplayPort (DP 1.4) and the USB-C DP Altmode video port can reach resolutions of up to 8K@30 Hz or 5K@120 Hz, while the HDMI (HDMI 2.0) supports 5K@60 Hz. Two monitors in extended mode are supported with a choice of Video 1 (HDMI #1), Video 2 (HDMI #2 or DP) and Video 3 (USB-C DP Altmode). The video signal is transmitted via the DP Altmode protocol. Therefore, check the video support of the host for external monitors (the number of external monitors via DP Altmode may be limited).
