Boss WL-60 Wireless System
Wireless system, plug & play solution for performers who want wireless freedom on stage, with up to 25 hours running time (powered by 2x AA batteries) - Black
The revolutionary WL series from BOSS delivers great sound, ultra-low latency and easy setup - it's never been easier for musicians to play wirelessly. Aimed at performers who mean business on stage, the WL-60 system combines plug-and-play operation with fast, user-guided control. Designed specifically for use on pedalboards, the compact receiver features a large display and quick access buttons to scan the frequency spectrum and select the optimum radio channel. The robust bodypack transmitter can run for up to 25 hours on conventional alkaline batteries and is compatible with almost any instrument. The WL-60 is based on the renowned BOSS radio technology and offers exceptional sound quality with a wide dynamic range. With its reliable audio performance, transmission dropouts are a thing of the past, while the extremely low latency of just 2.3 ms provides an outstanding playing experience without any noticeable offset. Up to 14 WL systems can be used in parallel in one room. In this way, several musicians can benefit from wireless freedom at the same time. In contrast to the complicated procedure of other systems, the automatic scan function and the clear display of the WL-60 ensure quick and easy selection of the appropriate wireless channel. During the scanning process, all 14 channels are displayed simultaneously. This gives you a complete overview of the current radio conditions on site. Optimise your performance for every live situation and ensure that your sound is transmitted perfectly at all times. If your band mates are also using the WL-60 system, you can assign each musician their own channel. You can set up the WL-60 amazingly quickly and efficiently using the large LC display and the dedicated buttons on the front panel. Press the scan button and wait briefly while the 14 channels are scanned automatically. You will then see which channels guarantee the best transmission. In the next step, select the desired channel on the receiver, switch on the transmitter and pair it with the selected channel - and you're ready to go! To make not only the set-up but also the operation as efficient as possible, the LC display of the WL-60 provides feedback on the channel selection, the radio signal strength and other parameters. The supplied WL-60T bodypack transmitter is compact, lightweight and robust and can be quickly and easily attached to a belt or instrument strap. With just two AA alkaline batteries, the transmitter offers a runtime of up to 25 hours. In addition, the batteries can be replaced in just a few seconds, even in hectic live situations. You can set the operating channel from your playing position using the display and the selection buttons. The WL-60T can be connected to almost any guitar or bass using a short standard jack cable (included). You can also use additional WL-60Ts to create backups or equip several instruments with wireless transmitters at once. The receiver of the WL-60 system is the same size as a normal BOSS compact pedal and can be powered in the same way as your other pedals. This way, the WL-60 can be quickly and easily integrated into your pedalboard setup. Ideally, you should place the receiver at the beginning of your signal chain and connect the output to your first pedal. Thanks to the 6.3 mm jack socket, you can connect a conventional guitar cable to the WL-60 at any time without having to re-patch or remove the receiver from the board. The WL-60 includes two selectable cable simulations that reproduce the natural capacitive effect of a guitar cable in conjunction with passive pickups. If you don't need a cable simulation, you can switch the effect to bypass, for example for acoustic and electric guitars with an integrated preamp or instruments with active pickups.
