The Dahua DHI-HY-SA40C is a stand-alone smoke detector specially designed for continuous monitoring of smoke concentration in indoor spaces such as flats or detached houses.

Split spectrum sensor technology
Uses an advanced optical measurement method that provides high sensitivity in fire detection while minimising false alarms (e.g. from kitchen fumes such as burnt toast).

Long service life
The device is equipped with a permanently installed 10-year lithium battery (3V CR123A), which eliminates the need for maintenance over the entire operating time.

Audible alarm
In the event of danger, the integrated high-performance buzzer emits an alarm sound of at least 85 dB(A) at a distance of 3 metres.

Combined test/mute button
A single button enables both the function test and the temporary muting of the alarm.

Remote control function
The model supports muting via a compatible infrared remote control.
