Compatible with a wide range of smartphones and tablets: the iRig Stream makes it easy to connect to your iPhone, iPad and Android devices. USB, USB-C and Lightning cables are included, so you can start recording straight away. Two line-level RCA inputs are ideal for connecting DJ mixers and mixing desks. Other devices you can connect include keyboards and synthesisers. This is great for users who want to stream their DJ sets, record practice sessions or jam along to their favourite songs. Level meters also allow you to monitor your input and adjust the gain before the signal reaches your device. For smartphone users, the iRig Stream’s microphone/headphone jack is configured in the same way as your phone. This means you can still answer calls whilst connected to the iRig Stream. The microphone/headphone input can also be used to record audio by routing it through the stereo input. App integration: The iRig Stream’s mono/stereo switch accommodates all applications, even those that only accept mono audio. The interface also comes with iRig Recorder 2 LE for Apple and Android devices. This app is designed to make the most of the iRig Stream’s features. You can record, trim, edit and share directly from your device. In stereo mode, both inputs are routed as left and right channels, whilst mono mode mixes them into a single channel, allowing you to continue using two inputs. A loopback function also enables you to mix your device’s output into the incoming signal. This is perfect for playing along to backing tracks streamed from your device.
