The USB-C to Mini-Displayport adapter connects the new MacBooks with USB-C port to the Apple Cinema Display with Mini-Displayport connection. Simply plug this adapter into the USB-C port of the MacBook and you can connect your Apple Cinema Display via the mini display port cable and display photos, videos and other media on the large screen. This adapter works with Plug & Play (no driver is required) & has a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD). The adapter is not compatible with the Apple 30" Cinema Display (M9179) or Apple 27" Thunderbolt Display (MC914).
