The LMP USB-C Compact Dock 2 is designed for the new generation of Apple MacBook Air and Pro with M1/M2 chip. The dock is connected to the left side of the notebook and occupies two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Thanks to the ingenious design and a recess at the bottom of the dock, the MagSafe connector and the 3.5 mm jack remain easily accessible even when Compact Dock 2 is connected. The 6 high-performance connections of the Compact Dock 2 complement the limited connection options of the new Apple notebooks with universal compatibility. Both a Thunderbolt 4 port with up to 8K@30 Hz and an HDMI 2.0 port with up to 4K@60 Hz are available for connecting additional monitors. The Thunderbolt 4 port with up to 40 Gbit/s can be used for ultra-fast data transfers, and the dock also has a USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 and two USB 3.0 ports with 5 Gbit/s each. In addition, the Thunderbolt 4 and USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 ports deliver up to 100 W to the host or connected peripherals in accordance with the Power Delivery 3.0 standard. Last but not least, the Gigabit Ethernet port enables fast network access. The supplied rubber feet in various sizes guarantee a perfect fit on all MacBook Air and Pro with M1/M2 chip and greatly reduce the load on the notebook's Thunderbolt 4 ports.
