1. The maximum lifespan of a smoke alarm is 10 years. It’s handy that the unique battery in Netatmo’s Smart Smoke Alarm lasts the full 10 years*. This means there’s no need to change the battery. As soon as you receive a battery warning, you’ll automatically know it’s time to replace the smoke alarm.

2. The smoke alarm’s intelligence also extends to its own operational status, which it constantly monitors. With its self-test function, it checks the condition of the smoke sensor, the battery and the Wi-Fi connection. Low battery, connection error... your smoke alarm will immediately send a notification to your smartphone. Want to be absolutely sure? You can view the self-test reports via the app at any time.

3. The Netatmo Smart Smoke Alarm can be installed in just a few minutes – wirelessly. All you need is a tool to screw it into the ceiling in your chosen location. Then simply download the Netatmo Security app to connect the smoke alarm to your Wi-Fi network and start using all its features.

4. Has a burnt piece of toast accidentally set off an alarm? You frantically try to silence it before the children wake up and the whole neighbourhood is startled. That won’t happen to you with Netatmo’s smart smoke alarm, as it can be silenced via the app for 15 minutes. A simple tap on your smartphone is all it takes, and you’ll have a quarter of an hour to clear the smoke!
