However, some software synthesisers and hardware modules don't always offer all the tools you need. The A-88MKII expands your creative arsenal with three configurable zones, modern arpeggiator functions, a chord memory and multifunctional pads for triggering commands and events for energetic real-time performances. The A-88MKII utilises the latest technologies for universal compatibility and maximum convenience in the future. The USB-C connection with bus power requires only a single cable for connection to macOS and Windows systems and is also iOS compatible. The A-88MKII also supports the new MIDI 2.0 standard with its extended possibilities. *The Apple Camera Connection Kit and a mains power supply are required for connection to an iOS device with a Lightning connector. With the control software for macOS and Windows, you can customise the A-88MKII to your needs. Record all your layers and mappings at a glance and assign individual commands and colours to the pads. Create your own setups to control specific software synthesisers or external hardware devices and use the practical Snap Shot function to call up individual setups.
