The sounds and rhythms in the BK-3 cover a whole range of different musical styles from all over the world, including Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia. There are over 850 sounds and 50 different drum kits built in, providing a universe of sounds for playing melodies and accompaniments. Compatibility with GM2, GS and XG Lite formats ensures high quality playback with standard MIDI files. The BK-3 is capable of playing backing tracks of various formats from an optional USB stick, including WAV and MP3 audio, SMF and Roland rhythms (BK, E, G and VA series). Pitch and speed can be easily adjusted to your own pitch and playing style, even with audio files. An additional centre cancel function makes it possible to reduce the volume of the vocals in a WAV/MP3 song. Ideal for karaoke and minus-one applications. The recording function is easily accessible on the front of the device at all times. Your recordings are saved in CD quality in WAV format on an optional USB stick. This way you can easily copy the songs to a computer and burn them to CD for friends and family. BK-3 users can communicate with their iPad or iPhone using the optional USB Wlan stick WNA1100-RL. Apps such as the Air Recorder for recording your BK-3 performance on your iPhone or the Lyrics Viewer, which streams the lyrics of your SMF songs to your iPad, are already available - and completely free of charge!
