BOSS is pleased to offer another "Authentic BOSS" compact pedal: the AC-3. How many times have you been on stage or in the studio with your electric guitar and wished you had brought an acoustic guitar? For musicians travelling light, lugging an extra guitar to the gig is not always the most attractive option. BOSS AC-3 comes to the rescue! This new generation compact pedal uses COSM modelling technology to transform any electric guitar into a variety of beautiful acoustic guitars.

Advanced modelling
BOSS' COSM acoustic modelling technology comes into its own in this small but powerful pedal. It simulates the sound of an acoustic guitar much more precisely and realistically than previous technology allows. Derived from the BOSS top model AD-8, the AC-3 simulates the sound of an acoustic guitar with incredible precision. Four simulation modes are available: Standard, Jumbo, Enhanced and Piezo-equipped; the latter delivers the famous direct piezo sound that "cuts" through the mix.

Fine control
The previous compact acoustic guitar modelling pedals were promising, but with the AC-3 the bar has been raised even higher.
With the "Top" and "Body" controls, the characteristics of the four acoustic guitar models can be influenced. Create the perfect acoustic guitar sound quickly and easily with simple turns of the knobs.

Versatile output paths and reverb included
The AC-3 has two outputs for connection to a standard guitar amplifier and to a direct input device such as a PA or recorder.
With the AC-3's built-in digital reverb, you can add depth and sweetness to your sound. It's like having two pedals in one!
