Extreme distortion pedal for extreme music, also ideal for 7-string guitars

The Boss MD-2 Mega Distortion effects pedal burns like a Californian amp classic, which caused a furore on a "black album" in the early 1990s. It delivers subterranean deep distortion sounds with massive bass, while a special two-stage distortion and gain boost circuit provides enormous distortion capacities. The integrated bottom tone control enables full, pushing lows and thus expands the tonal spectrum of almost every guitarist. The four Distortion, Gain Boost, Level and Tone/Bottom knobs offer an additional expansion of the sound variety with full control over all generated sounds. Thanks to the two 6.5 mm jack connections for input and output, the Boss MD-2 Mega Distortion effect pedal can be integrated quickly and easily and, thanks to its compact size and low weight, can be fitted on almost any pedalboard. A 9V battery or an optionally available 9V mains adapter can be used for the power supply.
