Switchbot Smart Motion Sensor

Motion detector with a wide detection range & built-in light sensor (compatible with Matter when used with the SwitchBot Hub 2)

With a detection range of up to 9 m, 110° horizontally and 55° vertically, it can detect your body movements across a wide area. You can adjust the sensitivity settings yourself. If the motion sensor is set to a lower sensitivity, you will only be alerted to more noticeable movements. A fly spending the day buzzing around your room will never trigger an alert and disturb your mobile phone.

Built-in light sensor
The light sensor is used to detect whether it is light or dark in a target environment. You can set the threshold for light or dark in the SwitchBot app. If your motion sensor is connected to a SwitchBot Hub (sold separately), it can automatically switch on your desk lamp when it detects darkness.

Voice alerts from Alexa
The SwitchBot Motion Sensor works perfectly with Echo devices. Alexa is connected to the SwitchBot Hub (sold separately) and alerts you when the motion sensor detects movement. If an intruder enters your kitchen whilst you’re in the bedroom, Alexa will say: “Someone’s coming into the kitchen”.
Important: Only the SwitchBot Hub 2 supports the new Matter standard.

Place it anywhere in your home
The SwitchBot Motion Sensor can be placed anywhere in your home. Without the base, you can place it directly on a table or shelf. With the base, you can attach it to a magnetic object or stick it to a flat surface using 3M adhesive pads.
