SwitchBot Hub 2 (2nd gen) is a 4-in-1 smart hub that allows you to monitor temperature and humidity, consolidate infrared remote controls and control SwitchBot devices remotely via Wi-Fi.

When connected to Hub 2, your existing SwitchBot Bot, Lock and Curtain devices become Matter-compatible, allowing you to control them via Apple Home. You can also control IR remote controls that you’ve added to Hub 2 using Smart Learning in Apple Home. (App version: 7.4)

A smart Wi-Fi thermometer and hygrometer: Monitor room temperature and humidity accurately thanks to the Swiss-made sensor and the large LED screen. With the light sensor, your device can adapt to its local environment, and it’s Wi-Fi-enabled so you can monitor temperature, humidity and lighting at home. Anytime, anywhere.

A smart Wi-Fi infrared remote control: With Smart Learning, the SwitchBot Hub 2 (2nd gen) can add a wide range of infrared remote controls for household appliances to our app, making life at home easier. You can then control devices such as TVs, air conditioners, etc. via voice commands (e.g. Alexa) or even via our app or your Apple Watch.

Used with scenes and geofencing: Temperature, humidity and light detected by the Hub 2 (2nd Gen) can be used as automatic scene conditions to control devices such as air conditioners and create a comfortable environment at home. Use it with other SwitchBot products to create further automation scenes.

With 2 smart buttons: Hub 2 (2nd Gen) features 2 buttons that allow you to set up household appliances or automation scenes via our app. Simply tap the buttons lightly and enjoy the many different possibilities of home automation – ideal for older people or children who cannot use smartphones or voice commands.

Supports Matter: SwitchBot Curtain, Blind Tilt and Lock will support Matter when used with the SwitchBot Hub 2 (2nd Gen), which in turn helps ensure your device supports HomeKit (support for other devices will follow shortly). Our hub also enables the use of smart assistants such as Alexa, Google Home and Apple Home for a better smart home experience.
