The schedules are stored on the device. They work reliably even without an internet connection.

Future-proof technology
tado° X uses the Matter smart home standard. Many devices and brands share this standard – they connect and work together seamlessly. This makes tado° compatible with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings. The Bridge X (sold separately) or another compatible Thread border router connects your tado° X devices to the internet. In larger homes, it can also be used as a signal booster.
