Widely compatible & easy to install
Compatible with wired systems. Works with boilers and heat pumps (relays & OpenTherm). The tado° app guides you step by step through the installation. You’ll need a Bridge X (sold separately) or another compatible Thread border router to connect your tado° X devices to the internet. Not suitable for underfloor heating – there’s a separate tado° product for that.

Full control, from anywhere
The free tado° app is included with every tado° product. Control the temperature conveniently from anywhere – whether at home, at work or on holiday. With Quick Actions, you can switch everything off at once or turn up the heating straight away. Create custom heating schedules for each room – in just two clicks. The schedules are stored on the device. They work reliably even without an internet connection.

Future-proof technology
tado° X uses the Matter smart home standard. Many devices and brands share this standard – they connect and work together seamlessly. This makes tado° compatible with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings. The Bridge X (sold separately) or another compatible Thread Border Router connects your tado° X devices to the internet. In larger homes, it can also be used as a signal booster.

Elegant design & intuitive operation
Swipe across the interactive light ring to adjust the temperature quickly and intuitively. The button on top of the thermostat is fully customisable – giving you quick access at the touch of a button. The LED matrix display shows the current temperature and humidity at a glance.

Control each room individually via the app. With Room Link, the Wired Smart Thermostat X (2nd gen) and the Smart Radiator Thermostats X work together perfectly.
